Hall Barn Farms - Feltwell
The development, situated in the popular Norfolk village of Feltwell, comprises of 19 architect-designed homes. The development consists of seven individually crafted conversions, with particular attention being paid to the methods used to rebuild the historic buildings of Hall Farm. The conversions have been used to influence the design and sculpting of the twelve newly built homes, which echo the style and history of the existing buildings.
The original features will be retained and their character enhanced by combining them with modern touches in a balanced contrast of old and new. Careful consideration has been given to the external finishes by blending the traditional brickwork with Clunch and Flint producing an aesthetically pleasing finish.

The pubs, The Wellington and The Chequers are popular spots for the village locals to meet and socialize. There is also a Social Club. The
village has two churches and a Methodist chapel. The street known as ‘The Beck’ was once a river, which this development is accessed via. The village has a mixture of residents with some that have been based in Feltwell for many years and others that have moved to the village because of its excellent amenities and good access to a number of larger towns and cities.
Hall Farm, Feltwell dates back to the 17th century and yet retains many of its original characteristics from when it was first built. Although the farm has not been occupied for the last thirty years, the buildings have been relatively un-spoilt. The continuity of the charm and character of the farm was very important when designing and restoring the original buildings with many of the features and materials reclaimed onsite.
Hall Farm will once again be a real feature to the center of the village bringing a mix of history and charm back to this site that’s between Bell Street and The Beck. The village is conveniently located near several RAF airfields, notably RAF Feltwell, RAF Lakenheath and RAF Mildenhall. These have been home to large sections of the USAF for many years and increase the desirability and demand of the village.
Brandon Station provides rail connections between Norwich and Cambridge whilst Downham Market station links directly to Liverpool Street. Facilities within the village include: Post office, mini market, newsagent, hairdressers, cafe and two pubs. There is also a petrol/service station
