"I have known the above company for some Fourteen years or so ago when they successfully carried out some major refurbishment and improvement works out in the former North B and East House Boarding Houses during the mid 1990's. At that time I found their work to be of a high standard and excellent value for money with a good working relationship between all parties.

I am pleased to say that we have re-acquainted ourselves with the above company over the last two or three years when they have carried two major Boarding House refurbishments, working on extremely tight time and financial constraints with a tremendous amount of success. Their attitude is professional, the quality of their works is extremely high and their relationship with consultants, mechanical and electrical installation companies regarding liaison and co-operation is first class.

They have also carried out some major refurbishment and "new" build works for the School at Belvoir Terrace. These works were successfully carried out under the constraints of working carefully within a Conservation area and successfully working with the Local Conservation Officer, the "new" build merging extremely well with the existing. The company are at present involved in rebuilding our Carpenters' workshops that were recently severely damaged by a major fire.

Their working relationship with the School has been excellent, professional and cordial. They have been able to meet the very tight regulations that the School imposes regarding working personnel, site access, security and time availability for our refurbishment and works projects that they have undertaken. I have little doubt that the School will continue to ask Granchester to tender and quote for any future works or building schemes at The Leys."
